We’re hiring a Photographer
As a Product Photographer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality images of products for use in marketing materials, e-commerce sites, and other promotional materials. You will work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into visually appealing images that showcase product features and benefits.
Required Experience Skills And Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in product photography or related fields.
- Experience with studio lighting and equipment.
- Experience with post-production editing and retouching.
- Experience with project management and client communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to capture high-quality product images.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with photography trends and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in photography or related field.
- Strong understanding of photography techniques, such as lighting, composition, and colour.
- Experience with using Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing software.
- Knowledge of product photography best practices, such as colour accuracy and shadow consistency.
- Familiarity with shooting on a range of cameras and lenses.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Capture high-quality product images that showcase product features, benefits, and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, designers, and web developers, to ensure that product images are aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Use professional photography equipment, lighting, and editing software to create and enhance product images.
- Manage and prioritise product photography projects and timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality images.
- Prepare product sets and backgrounds to create the desired aesthetic and mood for the images.
- Retouch and edit product images to enhance visual appeal, remove imperfections, and optimise for SEO.
- Ensure that all product images are optimised for web and mobile viewing, accessibility, and user experience.
- Maintain a digital asset library of product images for easy access and reuse.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest photography trends, equipment, and software and share knowledge with the team
- Follow photography and copyright laws and regulations to protect intellectual property rights.
